The federal election campaign has hit the one-third mark, and the three main party leaders started Day 13 in Quebec, where they unveiled more promises to voters. In Montreal, Liberal Leader Mark Carney pledged to bolster CBC/Radio-Canada’s funding. Carney resumed campaigning on Friday after spending most of the week dealing with U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariffs.
