Childish ways Re “The new hate for Elon Musk is childish and hypocritical” (Report on Business, March 17): Who decides which government employees are superfluous? Elon Musk, an unelected private citizen with a chainsaw? To imagine that federal employees declared superfluous, by people who have little idea what they actually do, should be okay with their scattershot firings is childish indeed. Although few would argue that government should be streamlined, some thoughtful analysis should accompany such action. I see no evidence of thoughtfulness.
