Western Sanctions? Why Russia Can’t Purchase Brazil’s Embraers Or The Chinese C919

In the wake of the 2022 Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Western countries (along with other countries like South Korea and Japan) imposed crippling sanctions on Russia’s aviation industry. Russia is now cut off from the international aviation industry (except for where it is able to evade sanctions).
