Revenue seizes more than €600k worth of nitrous oxide in two operations

Revenue officers have seized nitrous oxide worth a total of €647,000 at Dublin Port in two separate recent operations. On Monday, June 3, as a result of risk profiling, Revenue officers seized 8,640 nitrous oxide canisters with an estimated value of €342,000 at Dublin Port. The discovery was made in a consignment originating from Hong Kong which had arrived via Rotterdam and which was intended for an address in Northern Ireland.
