Canada-Taiwan investment agreement to boost economic ties

Canada accounted for 0.1 per cent of the foreign investment in Taiwan over the past 10 years Last year's signing of the Foreign Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement (FIPA) is expected to bring Canada and Taiwan closer in economic partnerships, according to experts.
