GIFT Nifty indicates a weaker opening for Indian benchmark indices on Monday, March 11. At 9 am, GIFT Nifty is trading 81.00 points, or 0.36 per cent at 22,623.00. Asian indices slipped with Nikkei falling for the first time below the 40,000 mark since February 2021. The Japanese index is trading 984.84 points, or 2.48 per cent lower at 38,704.10 while South Korea’s Kospi slipped 0.39 per cent to trade 2,670.35.
