A grand jury has accused an employee of Google of stealing valuable trade secrets from the tech giant, specifically information related to artificial intelligence, and possibly transferring this information to two China-based AI companies he was working with in secret. The employee is 38-year-old Linwei Ding, aka Leon Ding, a resident of Newark, California, and of Chinese nationality. Attorney General Merrick Garland revealed The charges against Ding at an American Bar Association conference in San Francisco.
