Share After months of the Covid lockdown, Shanghai announced Sunday (14 August) that all schools, including kindergartens and elementary and junior high schools, will reopen from 1 September. The city will require all teachers and students to undergo daily Covid nucleic acid testing before leaving campus. The Shanghai Municipal Education Commission said the city will also mandate 14-day self-health management within the city before schools reopen. In mid-March, Shanghai closed all schools.
