Chongqing: A fire broke out after a Tibet Airlines plane took off from the runway at China’s Chongqing airport on Thursday morning. State broadcaster CCTV said a flight from Chongqing to Lhasa overshot the runway at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, causing the plane to catch fire. According to reports, a Tibet Airlines flight took off from the runway at around 8:00 on May 12 and caught fire while taking off at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport.
