[Taiwan reports 26 local COVID cases] The Central Epidemic Command centre (CECC) on Tuesday (February 8) announced 26 local COVID cases. CECC head Chen Shih-chung also confirmed 22 imported cases. The command centre did not announce any deaths, leaving the COVID death toll at 851.
